At Café Modern, we believe that great menus start with fresh, naturally produced ingredients. We cook exclusively from scratch, using whole grains and vegetables. Cage-free shell eggs. Humanely treated chickens and beef, raised without antibiotics or growth hormones. And no trans fats or high fructose corn syrup.
To make sure our ingredients live up to our high expectations, we source whenever possible from local family farms and artisan producers who practice traditional, sustainable agriculture and husbandry. Then, from these fresh, seasonal, local ingredients, our chef uses classical culinary techniques that preserve nutrition and maximize healthfulness. The result is a dining experience unique to the Fort Worth area.
The wines at Café Modern have been selected not just for their ability to pair with our cuisine, but to support our Low Carbon Footprint Program. Thus, we have focused almost exclusively on U.S. vintages from the celebrated grape-growing regions of California, Washington and Oregon. These areas produce some of the world’s finest wines, and their proximity helps minimize shipping energy. We also feature Certified Organic and Sustainable Winegrowing selections. Although the list is short, all of our wines must prove their mettle every year. We’re sure you’ll enjoy even the most affordable of these fine wines.
